Operations and Financial Services Manager
Les Snow joined the Craft Emergency Relief Fund in 2003 as the program and financial services officer. He has been an administrative director for statewide and national non-profits in the past and has a bachelor’s degree in studio art from the University of Vermont.
Communications and Events Coordinator
Jeanne arrived at CERF in 2002 to take a newly established position as Special Events Coordinator. That position later expanded to encompass CERF’s communications work. Jeanne manages all of CERF’s printed materials. She is point person for CERF’s earned income fundraising activities which include A Month for CERF, our annual collection of miniatures, and the ACC Baltimore Raffle, as well as fundraising events sponsored by CERF supporters. Jeanne has over twenty years of experience in communications, project management and event planning, mostly in the non-profit sector.
Director of Programs
Craig joined the CERF staff in Fall 2006. As a furniture maker, sculptor, and arts activist, Craig’s multi-faceted experience provides him firsthand understanding of the many ways that artists pursue their career. In addition, Craig has been active with numerous arts organizations including: the Furniture Society, the Board of Directors of Tennesseans for the Arts, the Artists’ Council of the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, and most recently serving as interim executive director of the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (TACA). Craig lives outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
Executive Director
Cornelia has served as the executive director of the Craft Emergency Relief Fund since 1995. Prior to her tenure at CERF, she was the grants officer at the Vermont Arts Council and before that a program coordinator in the Contemporary Arts Department at the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities. She has a master’s degree in education with a specialization in human development from Harvard University and has served on numerous foundation, state arts councils, and National Endowment for the Arts grant panels. Cornelia lives with her husband and young daughter in Calais, Vermont.
Office and Information Systems Manager
Elissa joined the CERF staff in Summer 2004. Elissa earned her bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a minor in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and her master’s degree in expressive therapies from Lesley University. While in graduate school, Elissa became infected with the bookbinding bug and has continued to create and sell her work to this day. The combination of social service, technical, and creative experience led Elissa to CERF, where she now provides a range of technical and administrative support that helps keep the CERF office running.
