- Arthouse (Texas) Emergency Assistance Grants

- Artist Relief Fund (Minnesota and Wisconsin) Emergency Grants
- The purpose of the Artist Relief Fund is to meet the emergency needs of artists in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin who find themselves, due to an unexpected and career-threatening loss of income, in immediate need of financial assistance.

- CancerCare Assist
- CancerCare is a national nonprofit that provides free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer. Services include limited grants to individuals for certain expenses related to treatment.
- CaringBridge: Free, websites that support and connect loved ones during illness.
- CaringBridge is a nonprofit organization offering free personalized websites to people facing a serious medical condition, hospitalization, undergoing medical treatment and/or recovering from a significant accident, illness, injury or procedure.
- CERF+'s Studio Protector
- CERF+ has developed an emergency preparedness and response toolkit for artists called the Studio Protector. It consists of an interactive ready-reference Wall Guide and a companion web site with an Online Guide that complements and elaborates on the information contained in the wall guide.

- Emergency Grants from Modest Needs
- Modest Needs is a registered charity that works to stop the cycle of poverty before it starts for low-income workers struggling to afford emergency expenses. The organization also provides an online database of other recovery resources.

- Foundation for Contemporary Arts: Emergency Grants
- The Foundation for Contemporary Arts’ emergency grants provide speedy funding for visual and performing artists who have unanticipated, sudden opportunities to present their work to the public, or who incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completion with committed exhibition or performance dates.

- The Adolph & Ester Gottlieb Foundation helps mature painters, sculptors and printmakers who have been working in their medium for at least ten years. The fund is competitive. Craft artists have received assistance in the past.

- The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen has an emergency relief fund that provides loans to professional craft artists after a career-threatening emergency.
- Lotsa Helping Hands: Online System for Volunteer Coordination Supporting those in Need
- Help a friend or family member suffering a severe emergency by creating a secure online community of helpers. Define volunteer activities and invite family, friends and other community members to join. The system provides for tracking of needs and volunteer efforts.
- Max’s Kansas City Project
- The mission of the max’s kansas city project is to provide emergency relief and resources for artists in need, and educate youth on the dangers of substance abuse and addiction. Emergency grants available to professional artist residing in New York State.
- Mayer Foundation
- The Foundation makes economic relief grants to individuals who are distressed or suffering as a result of poverty, low income or lack of financial resources. Proposals will be considered by the Foundation’s selection committee, which meets quarterly.

- RESCU Foundation – Medical Expense Assistance for Renaissance Festival Artists and Workers
- The RESCU Foundation is a non-profit organization established to promote and maintain the health and medical well-being of the participants of Renaissance Faires, historical performances and other artistic events through financial assistance, advocacy, education and preventative programs.
- Small Business Administration (SBA): Disaster Preparedness and Recovery
- SBA’s resources to help small businesses prepare for and recover from disaster.
- Springboard for the Arts Emergency Relief Fund (MN, IA, ND, SD, or WI artists)
- Springboard’s Emergency Relief Fund exists to help meet the emergency needs of artists in need of immediate monies to cover an expense due to a career-threatening event.
- Synergy Art Foundation (San Diego) Emergency Assistance Grants
- The mission of San Diego Emergency Artists’ Support League (a sub-foundation of Synergy Art Foundation) is to provide limited emergency financial assistance to San Diego County’s visual artists and visual arts professionals who are in desperate need because of a medical crisis, accident or loss of personal or professional property.
- Tamarack Foundation Artisan Relief Program (TARP)
- TARP offers grants up to $5,000 for Tamarack-juried artisans who have been directly affected by significant disasters such as destructive floods, fires, etc., and life maintenance grants for necessities, such as emergency medical, food and housing needs.

- The Artists Fellowship – New York
- Financial aid is available through the Emergency Funding Grant Program to support professional fine artists and their families in the event of illness, distress, disability, or bereavement.
- The Haven Foundation: Emergency Relief Grants
- The Foundation provides emergency relief grants for freelance professional members of the dramatic, literature, painting, sculpture, music or dance professions including but not limited to, performers, writers and members of the production community.
- The Pollock-Krasner Foundation
- The Pollock-Krasner Foundation provides support to artists working on paper, painters and sculptors. Grants are for one year and range from $1,000 to $30,000. Craft artists have received assistance in the past, however, the fund is very competitive.
- U.S. Department of Labor – Disaster Unemployment Assistance
- Disaster Unemployment Assistance provides financial assistance to individuals whose employment or self-employment has been lost or interrupted as a direct result of a major disaster.
- Visual Aid (San Francisco Bay Area)
- Visual Aid is a non-profit organization for professional visual artists with life-threatening illnesses living in one of the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties. Each year Visual Aid offers a voucher program and ArtBank for free art supplies, an active Exhibition Program, Career Services, Image Archives, Lecture and Workshop series, and an Educational Outreach Program and community.
- Visual AIDS
- Visual AIDS provides direct services to artists living with HIV/AIDS. The Visual AIDS Artist Material Grants are awarded to Visual AIDS active members, who are low income artists in need of financial assistance in obtaining materials for their artwork.
