A Month for CERF+ total still rising
Contributions to CERF+’s annual nationwide fundraising event, A Month for CERF+, are still coming in. To date $30,000 has been raised by forty of the sixty-five participating businesses (galleries, online markets, show producers and craft artists). Ephraim Faience Pottery – Top Contributor to A Month for CERF+
Ephraim Faience Pottery & Dovetail Antiques of Deerfield, Wisconsin recently contributed $11,400 to CERF+. As participants of A Month for CERF+ since 2002, every year EFP has created an original, limited edition vase to benefit CERF+. A portion of the proceeds of the sale from this year’s Tulip Vase for CERF+ generated the $11,400 donation – the largest contribution made by A Month for CERF+ 2006 participant. All CERF+ vases have been developed around the theme of traditional meanings of flowers that relate to CERF+’s mission. White tulips symbolize good luck.

Giving Back to Artists – The Guild
Until the end of November The GUILD will be donating a portion of every sale from their The Artful Home holiday catalog to the CERF+. The GUILD is a leading distributor of original art and fine craft items shipped direct from the studios of top artists across North America. Last fall, with the help of their customers, The GUILD contributed $10,000 to CERF+’s Disaster Relief Fund that aided Gulf Coast artists affected by Hurricanes Katrina, Wilma and Rita.
UncommonGoods supports CERF+
Online store, UncommonGoods.com made a recent donation to CERF+ for $2,500 through their Better to Give Program. CERF+ is one of a handful of non-profit organizations that UncommonGoods has selected a beneficiary of their philanthropic program because they believe CERF+’s mission dovetails with their company values. UncommonGoods was founded in 1999 and has donated a total of $15,000 to CERF+ through the Better to Give Program since 2001.
CERF+ appoints new officers and four new Trustees
The CERF+ board appointed two new officers and four new trustees at its October annual meeting held this year at Penland School of Craft in North Carolina.

They join Tresurer Susan Schear and Secretary Terri Moreland as CERF+ officers. Also at the meeting, CERF+ appointed four new trustees who began three-year terms following the meeting.
